Gandhi’s Philosophy of Nonviolence

“Gandhi’s dedication to non-violence still remains example for all” – UN chief

Every year October 2nd is birthday of the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. One of the principles of Gandhiji, Non-Violence is most suitable for any time period. Gandhiji understood that the weak and poor people of India couldn’t succeed the mighty British by way of arms and violence. Therefore he had chosen Non-Violence as our path for freedom. We had seen violence had never succeeded in the history. In Sri Lanka, the Tamils Leaders tried to establish a separate land for Tamils by way of violence. But they never succeeded. We can see many incidents like this in the History. This clearly shows Mahatma Gandhi’s fore sightedness.
